Entering the 1970 season, Robertson was one of the best players in NBA history, but still did not have that elusive first championship. Teaming up with second year big man Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (Lewis Alcindor at the time) was not a bad idea. These two superstars won the NBA Finals in their first year together, which would be their only title together. Following the ‘73-74 seasons, the Big O retired, and Kareem made his way to L.A.
